You agree to the terms of service below, and the Terms of Use for Substack, the technology provider.
Effective date: January 12, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Front Page Detectives (the “Publication”), a news and media publication published by Mystify Entertainment Network Inc. (“Mystify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) on the Substack platform.
Important: The Publication is hosted by Substack. Your use of Substack and your Substack account (including subscriptions, billing, and platform functionality) is also governed by Substack’s own terms and policies (“Substack Terms”). If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Substack Terms regarding platform features (payments, accounts, delivery, moderation tooling, etc.), the Substack Terms control for those platform matters.
By accessing, reading, subscribing to, or interacting with the Publication (including commenting), you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
The Publication is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to comment, submit content, or interact with community features. If you are under 18, you may read only with the involvement and consent of a parent/guardian (and you may not submit personal data or comments).
2. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Publication. Changes are effective when posted. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
3. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy (if posted) and/or as otherwise disclosed on the Publication. Because the Publication is hosted on Substack, Substack also collects and processes information under its own policies.
4. Intellectual Property
All content we publish—including text, photographs, graphics, logos, titles, branding, design elements, and compilation of content (“Publication Content”)—is owned by Mystify and/or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and read the Publication Content for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not
Without our prior written permission (or the relevant rights holder’s permission), you may not:
copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, publicly display, sell, licence, create derivative works from, or exploit Publication Content;
remove or alter copyright/trademark notices;
scrape, harvest, or use automated means to extract Publication Content or subscriber data (except as allowed by law or by Substack functionality).
We may allow specific sharing (e.g., via Substack’s share tools or permitted excerpts). Any rights not expressly granted are reserved.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Publication to:
violate any law or regulation;
harass, threaten, stalk, defame, or abuse anyone;
impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;

We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
6. Community Rules for True Crime Content
Because this Publication covers crime and legal matters, you agree to extra guardrails when commenting or submitting material:
No doxxing / no personal data
Do not post or request personal identifying information about private individuals—including home addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, private social accounts, licence plates, or family details.

If you assert a factual claim, be prepared to support it with credible sourcing. We may remove content that spreads rumours, misinformation, or defamatory claims.
We can remove comments that violate these rules, even if they are otherwise “on topic.”
7. User Content (Comments, Messages, Submissions)
“User Content” includes comments, replies, messages, and any material you submit to us or through Substack features.
You are responsible for what you submit
You represent that you have the rights to your User Content and that it does not violate law or anyone’s rights (including copyright, privacy, publicity, or defamation laws).
Licence you grant us
By submitting User Content, you grant Mystify a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, sublicensable, transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, publish, adapt, and create derivative works from your User Content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Publication (in any media now known or later developed), subject to applicable law.
Moderation
We may (but are not obligated to) monitor, edit, remove, restrict, or disable User Content at any time for any reason, including for violations of these Terms, Substack rules, or editorial standards.
8. Copyright / DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Publication infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice consistent with applicable law. We may remove or restrict access to allegedly infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

Paid subscriptions (if offered) and payment processing are handled through Substack and its payment providers.
Billing and delivery: Managed by Substack’s platform.
Cancellations: Typically handled by the subscriber through Substack account settings.

We do not control payment processor outages, platform downtime, or delivery failures outside our reasonable control.
12. Editorial Disclaimers (No Professional Advice)
Publication Content is provided for news, information, commentary, and entertainment purposes. It is not legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, or professional services.
We may update, correct, or retract content, and we do not guarantee that content is complete, current, or error-free.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Publication and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind—express or implied—including warranties of accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mystify and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Publication.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mystify’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Publication will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to Mystify for the Publication in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose, or (b) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mystify and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
your use of the Publication;
your User Content;
your violation of these Terms or any law; or
your infringement of any rights of a third party.
16. Termination and Access Restrictions
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Publication’s community features (including commenting) at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violations of these Terms or Substack rules.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including IP, licences, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification).
17. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Publication will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue there.
Note: Disputes involving Substack’s platform, payments, or account services may be governed by Substack’s own dispute terms.
18. No Class Actions; No Jury Trial (Where Allowed)

To the extent permitted by law, you and Mystify waive the right to a jury trial.
